Pack #32 - 2008 Topps Baseball

With spring training just around the corner, I'm starting to get that itch too crack open baseball cards. This was a fresh box of retail packs, that I found at Wally-World, and I just couldn't resist...........




Some people on the forums are saying that it looks like Manny is standing in front of the Japanese flag....(sorry, my scan doesn't show the red in the foil)......what do you think?

At first; I didn't really like or, for that matter, understand why this insert set was even included in this product. It didn't make since to me why they would include a Presidential campaign card in a baseball card set..............but, after seeing some of the cards, I think it's a neat novelty item.

If I get a chance, I might try and put this set together and save it. It could serve as a nice conversation peice with my future grandchildren...............

I was really bummed about the fact that I didn't get any rookie cards out of this pack.........but hey......at least I got a Democrat. My wife and her father are gonna crap their pants when they read this. They are life-time, devoted Republicans.
